Kindle Alphabetize

Kindle can’t alphabetize?

I have my Kindle 2 set to where it sort my books by the authors name but for some reason my kindle can’t alphabetize it right. I have K last names after ones that begin with L’s and some of the books that are by the same author aren’t even grouped together. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it? It’s really been bugging me.

If you want decent organizational features, you’ll need a Sony e-reader. Call or write Amazon’s customer support, if enough people ask for features, they may add them.

While you’re at it, tell customer support that you want to check e-books out of the public library. Other e-readers like Sony and Kobo are compatible with the DRM used by libraries but the Kindle only supports Amazon’s. Mutter something about Kobo when they tell you it can’t be done. They dropped the Kindle price from $259 to $139 to try and keep the $149 Kobo’s out of the US. They’re selling the Kindles below cost.
