Is the Kindle 3 fragile?

I am thinking about buying the latest generation Kindle. I am very accident-prone, however, so please help me. Should I buy it? Also, is the $60 case really worth that much, even with a small light?

It’s reasonably tough. I haven’t abused mine, but it’s been treated normally and it’s fine after 5 months of use.

I’d advise you to read the negative reviews of those Amazon cases. There are lots of them.
