Kindle, Nook , or another E-Reader?

I’m looking for an e-reader that you can also do crossword puzzles on and maybe a simple game or two. My moms a reader but I was hoping she could get more out of the e-reader! Thanks!!

E-readers are book readers, that is their primary function. I don’t think any of them offer games, but some (like Sony Reader) will play MP3 files.
See if your mom really wants an e-reader or if she would be happier with a netbook or tablet. As a total bookworm, I would never be satisfied trying to read on a computer screen (eyestrain) and would easily give up games.

You know what? Sony makes the Daily Reader, and it has a touchscreen and stylus for making notes. I wonder if you could do the NY times (available as a subscription) on it. Check with www.sonystyle.com or in a Sony Style store.
