Will my bf like his kindle 2 for xmas or hate it ?

i bought him a kindle 2 , two weeks ago ..

and now today we were looking at it online on amazon.com and he kept saying how he though it was pointless .. that it probably wasnt as eco friendly as everyone thoguh and that he might rather buy books ..

i was trying to keep my cool but now im freaking out .. that thing was pricey (for me a student)
and i want him so bad to be happy when he sees it .

do you think he will be disappointed when he sees it as a present next week ?

i though everyone wanted a kindle ….. hes may not be the biggest reader but he claims he is .. and he buys a lot of books .. i thought he would like it … he likes to have the new technology.

I love my Kindle 2 very much. Right now I’ve read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, it is really clear like reading books; and even I read with the device for long hours, I don’t feel tired. My only complaint is the white case, right now all the Kindles are in white color… I think it will be cool if I can have a black or deep blue color Kindle
