Kindle Etextbook

Is there anyway to get my etextbook to my kindle?
I just spent almost $100 on my textbook (Human Anatomy & Physiology 8th Ed by Marieb and Hoehn) as an ebook, and now they’re telling me I can’t put it on my kindle. I NEED it on my kindle. Is there any way at all I can get it as a pdf?
I can’t convert what I have to anything; at least, not through the website. I can only view it through my browser. I’m really just looking for someone who already has it on pdf format who can tell me how to convert it or purchase it that way.
Amazon has the title but not in Kindle format. Unfortunate.
Where did you find it? More importantly, what format is it in?
The conversion software to try is Calibre. Hopefully there is no DRM, otherwise Calibre won’t work. Avoid PDF as a target because scrolling around the screen is really non-ideal. Target PRC or MOBI if you can for reflow.
There are programs that can strip DRM. Given that you’ve paid for the book and that you’re not passing it along to others, there’s perhaps a personal case to be made for usage of such a program. Note, though, that it’s probably still illegal as it is the right (however ill-conceived) of the publisher to restrict distribution of its intellectual property. IANAL.

World of Art, A (6th Edition) $70.00 Why A World of Art? Henry Sayre wrote the first edition of World of Art because he wanted to use a text in his own art appreciation course that truly represented all artists, not just the Western canon found at that time in the other texts. He also wanted a text that fostered critical thinking through looking at, talking about, and questioning works of art for his students. We are proud to presen… |
