Kindle Europe

is my kindle going to work in Europe?

I know that i can download books off of amazon to my computer and then put them on my kindle but i was wondering if the wispernet works in Europe. Does anybody know from personal experiance?

Do you have an international kindle or a US kindle? The international kindle works overseas, but there’s a $2 download fee per book. The US kindle you’ll have to download over the computer.
