Kindle Hard Case Cover

ereader feedback anyone?

Hi,

looking at buying an e-reader though little about them. In any case it looks like the Amazon’s kindle 2 is one candidate as is the sony counterpart.

Does anyone out there have any preferences? I am not interested in paying for wireless capability in what ever it is I decide to buy.

What I do want though is a gadget that is hard-cover size, is easy to read and can handle as many document formats as possible ( pdf, chm, doc etc)

Seems you’re in the U.K. Unfortunately, the Kindle isn’t available outside the U.S. right now, as you can see in the question “Is Kindle available to customers outside the United States?” here:

So even if you find a way to get the device, it will be a headache to get the Kindle books on it, as you still need a US credit card and shipping address with your Amazon account in order to get the books.

I’ll suggest you to go for the Sony Reader instead, which is the best alternative of the Kindle. It can handle PDF and DOC files as well. There is a good review here:
