This means that if you want to access the numbers, you have to make use of the SYM button and select with the D-pad.

It is also possible to fit more text in a single page when you shorten the space that is between the words. The space between the lines can also be condensed to get more words in a single page. The Kindle 3 does not have an accelerometer but it is possible to change the orientation of the screen in four directions.
