The Amazon Kindle DX Wireless Reading Device – The Latest Generation Of Kindles

Amazon is releasing its newest Kindle, the Kindle DX. Sporting a big display area (9.7 inches), Amazon is hoping that its latest ebook reader will attraction to these readers who would prefer to enjoy periodicals on their Kindle. The bigger display makes it appear to be more of a tablet PC kind unit and sports activities the Kindle’s fabulous electronic ink display, making this probably the most “readable” e-book reader on the market.

Amazon is working with a lot of universities to do its personal little “beta” test using the Kindle DX to “carry” college textbooks. Some freshman college students at Case Western Reserve will check the most recent Kindle with pre-put in textbooks on them . Combining the availability of college texts with the e book reader’s electronic ink technology makes this combo a homerun for Amazon . And one can only think about how a lot lighter that college backpack will likely be when all it has to hold is a Kindle DX and some notebooks!

Amazon is hoping that the new enlarged screen will also appeal to newspaper readers. Amazon is throwing out a life line to the periodical print industry, pairing up with many major newspapers to supply Kindle electronic delivery of the morning paper.
