It’s relatively incredible that some of the oldest architectural structures contain manmade buildings dated back to as far as the Bronze Age. One of the most stable and well-preserved testaments of Roman influence is the Aqueduct of Segovia which still stands up till now.

All seasons pass and so did the period of the great influence of the Roman Empire on Spain, though the signs have already been made and left in the culture of the country. The Cathedral of Avila, for example, is judged to be the first Gothic building in the country. This cathedral is the primary gothic structure created in the country.
