Kindle Network Connection Problems

I just got my Kindle today, and I’m having a problem with it. My dad turned off the Wi-Fi connection in my house, and restarted it. However, now my Kindle won’t connect to he internet. But I also have the 3G network. What can I do to get my connection back?

Try deleting all wifi details you have on it and reentering it
