Kindle Pdf Convert Calibre

Kindle 3: I converted a PDF to Mobi using Calibre – Can you not highlight/do a note?

When I try to add a highlight or note I hit “place cursor in the text” from the menu but then it just comes up with a magnifying glass “zoom.” Is there no way to highlight/place a note when you convert a PDF to mobi with Calibre on Kindle 3?

I think you must not have any problem adding notes or highlights to your converted text as it is already a .mobi file. Please, take a look at the user’s guide and you’ll find the right way to do what you want.
