Kindle Return Policy Target

Kindle return policy?

I bought a kindle from target about a month ago with cash. It broke about two weeks later, screen malfunction. I called Target and begged for an exchange because I totally lost the receipt. They said no, totally reasonable. My dad asked if he went to Target, bought a kindle on his card, then gave me the new one and packaged the broken one in the box and returned it for store credit, would they accept it? I’m going with yes because the receipt did not have the serial number of the kindle. Does anyone see any problems? And don’t say “you’re a thief” because I bought a kindle, it broke, I’m getting a new one. Simple enough, right?

If it’s a screen malfunction, you should register the product and then contact Kindle. They may send you a replacement since you no longer qualify for an exchange from Target, It’s wrong to repackage a broken one to return.
