I broke my kindle, what is the amazon return policy?

When i was on a trip recently, i didnt really step, i just put a little weight ( a tiny bit) on my kindle in the case by amazon, inside a bag with other stuff in it, and it cracked the ink (?) in the screen, it was less than a month old, and im wondering what the amazon return policy is, and i want another one, too. Thanks

They aren’t going to accept it back. Face it, you broke the thing and you can’t expect amazon to replace it for you. What are you gonna do, break the next one too and then want another replacement ? It doesn’t work that way. . . .
