Kindle Rumors

I am sensing that Amazon is trying to clear out the Kindle 3 inventory for a new Kindle 4 (not tablet). Agree?
I know Amazon is rumored to release a tablet later this year but Bezos also hinted that there will always be a dedicated eReader device (Kindle).
As they have dropped the price on the 3g and WiFi with “Special Offers” and they have offered a 20% reduction on the Kindle 3 cover, it appears that they are trying to reduce inventory of the Kindle 3 for a possible Kindle 4 release.
Has anyone heard any rumors to confirm this or have any additional thoughts?
I am only interested in comments relating to a new Kindle 4 eReader device not the rumored tablet.

well there’s no doubt there will be a new Kindle but of course the question is when. The Special offers Kindle has been out for a month or so now and still no official announcement from Amazon, also the 20% reduction is just for father’s day.
