Kindle Singles Store
I have decent traffic to my online store, but no sales – why?
My store sells ebooks, and on Kindle they sell like crazy!! – about 100-500 ebooks each month.
so i decided to take the first step and create a website, the site had 250 visitors in the last 10 days, but not a single book sold, on the iStore sales are going up, Kindle does great and even Lightning Source is selling, but my site, which offers the ebooks for less, and the design is great – not selling…
what can i do to increase sales?
should i just link the products on the site to the Kindle store?
is 250 visits in 10 days even enough?

Congrats on the success of your ebooks on the kindle and iStore. 100-500 a month is really good sales numbers.
Here are some things you can think about:
1. Most people consider a 1% conversion rate as pretty good. So, I would wait for some more traffic to your online store before getting too worried. From the next 50 visitors you might get many sales – you never know.
2. Are your descriptions on the kindle and on your online store the same? What is it that is attracting people to buy on the kindle and not on your store?
3. Change the description on your store. Explain what they can get from your ebook. Test this for 100 or 200 visitors and see if that changes the conversion rate.
4. Change other elements on your store. And test each of them individually
